Inclusivity Statement

Our Commitment

At Verity, we are committed to providing compassionate, confidential support to ALL survivors, regardless of immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, age, disability, or economic background.

Our services are free, confidential, safe and accessible to everyone in our community, including undocumented individuals. We do not ask about immigration status and are committed to supporting survivors without fear of discrimination or reporting.

If you have any concerns about your safety or rights, we can also connect you with trusted legal and community resources for additional support. You deserve to be safe. We are here for you.

Land Acknowledgement

Verity recognizes that our mission of healing and supporting survivors is undertaken on the traditional territories of the Southern Pomo, Coastal Miwok, and Wappo peoples.

Just as we work to restore dignity and power to those who have experienced trauma, we also acknowledge the historical traumas inflicted on Indigenous communities and their extraordinary resilience. The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria continue to thrive, maintaining their cultural identity, sovereignty, and deep relationship with these lands.

Non-Discrimination and Accessibility Statement

At Verity, we believe everyone deserves to feel welcomed and supported. That’s why we follow federal and state regulations that prohibit discrimination based on actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.

We’re also proud to offer our services in multiple languages, including English and Spanish, to better serve our diverse community. In line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we ensure that individuals with disabilities can communicate with us as effectively as anyone else. Whether you have impaired vision, hearing, or other needs, we’ll make sure you can easily access information about our services and locations.
